Best time to dive in Cozumel and tips
Scuba Du operates a modern fleet of five vessels specially designed for diving in Cozumel, focused on your comfort and safety.

Check-in:
Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the scheduled departure

Schedule:
Boats depart promptly; night dives depend on sunset time.

Duration and conditions:
Dive duration varies by site and currents, which in Cozumel can be mild or moderate, ideal for drift diving.

Visibility:
Visibility is excellent year-round, peaking between May and September.

Hurricane season:
From June to November, weather conditions should be checked.

Water temperature:
Ranges from 25°C to 29°C, ideal for uninterrupted diving.
Safety scuba diving requirements
- If you haven’t dived in the last 6 to 12 months, a refresher dive is recommended.
- If more than 2 years have passed, a full refresher course is required (additional fees apply).
- All our Dive Masters and instructors are certified in first aid, CPR, and decompression protocols.
